   There is a long list that acupuncture and chinese medicine can help.

How should I dress for my appointments?

Wear loose fitting clothes that can be easily rolled up above your elbows and knees.  Also, you will need to expose your abdomen from your rib cage to the top of your hips, so avoid one piece suits or dresses.  Gowns are available.  However, most patients are more relaxed in their own loose fitting clothing.

How long does each session take?

The average session takes 30 - 45 minutes.  You should plan on being in the office for approximately 1 hour.  The time spent on each visit will vary based on the individual and the challenge that they present.  For the initial visit, plan to spend an hour to an hour and a half.

What types of payments do you accept?

Cash, checks, and all major credit/debit cards.  We do not bill insurance, but we can provide you with a receipt to send to your insurance company.

 

What should I do (or not do) before my appointment?

You should have a light meal about 2 hours before appointment.  It is not a good idea to have a full stomach right before your appointment nor an empty stomach.  Read more on what to expect on your first visit.

 

What should I do (or not do) after my treatment? 

Rest.  Avoid exercise if possible, and if exercising, only exercise moderately.  Avoid caffeine and alcohol consumption after your appointment.  Eat healthy, nourishing foods; avoid greasy, heavy, and processed foods. This is all to make sure that you feel your best after a treatment.

 

What if I cancel my appointment?

If for any reason you need to change or cancel your appointment, you may call, text or email us.  Please give at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment, as a courtesy to other patients who may need your open spot.
